2012 Wegman’s scholarship numbers greater than ever

Since 1916, Wegman's Food Markets, Inc. has been building its family-owned chain of stores. They now have 80 locations down the East Coast from New York to Virginia, and have been pioneering The Wegman's Employee Scholarship Program since 1984. Over the years, more than 26,500 employees have received a total of $85 million in scholarship funding. This year - the program's 29th - sees 1,686 employees receiving $5.05 million for the coming academic year, the largest number of scholarships ever annually awarded.…

Grant allows Boston community college to fund scholarships

Bunker Hill Community College, the largest of Massachusetts' community colleges, has been given a $536,456 three-year grant from the National Science Foundation. The school has announced that it will be using the funding to establish a new school scholarship program, titled "Rewarding Excellence For Leaders in Engineering, Computer Science, and Information Technology," or REFLECT.
Through the REFLECT program, more than 60 students will receive two-year schooling at Bunker Hill Community College, or one year at Bunker Hill and the second at another at a four-year school of that student's choice.…

Texan student wins inaugural Majesty Outdoors scholarship
