Jetta Operating president endows petroleum engineering scholarship

The president of the Jetta Operating Company has endowed a scholarship of $120,000 to Texas A&M, funded through the Texas A&M Foundation in the Von Gonten Scholars Program, which helps support and provide financial aid for college engineering students.
President Gregory A. Bird, who graduated A&M in 1982 and is also the owner of Jetta Operating, commented that with graduates in such high demand the petroleum industry needs more educated and advanced workers.…

Texan student wins inaugural Majesty Outdoors scholarship

The 18-year-old Texas teen has won the first Majesty Outdoors college scholarship, which was handed to her May 12th at a fundraising event for next year's recipients held in San Antonio, Texas.
