Phoenix student receives inaugural “Shane Figueroa” Memorial Scholarship

On May 14th, Elija Jenkins - a senior at South Mountain High School in Phoenix, Arizona - received the first Shane Figueroa Memorial Scholarship, honoring the late police officer who was killed in the line of duty in 2008.
