A regimented schedule will make the college application process much easier
October 28, 2011
The academic year is in full swing and high school students around the country are scrambling to write admissions essays, fill out applications and get everything ready to realize their higher education dreams. This process can be especially harrowing, so if you're about to jump into it, taking your time may be the best way to go.
Creating a schedule is the ideal way of getting the application process out of the way. Set aside an hour or so a day to work on your essay, apply for a college scholarship or grant and do some additional research about financial aid.
Organization is key when applying for college, so you don't want to leave anything out in your admissions package. Start by doing everything possible to send out an application to your first choice school, and then put your full focus on finding methods to reduce the cost of your tuition.
The college application process is a crazy time for any high school student, but taking it one step at a time will ensure that everything is done efficiently and right the first time around.
